With under 100 days to go, we are fast approaching the Rugby World Cup later this year in France! If you’ve had the pleasure of browsing some of the packages Infinity Sports Travel are offering, you’ll see there are plenty of great options catering for all types of fans. However, for me, there’s one package that stands out and that’s our 3-Night, Wales v Portugal & England v Japan package. Here’s why:
1. The Rugby:
The first of the games, Wales v Portugal, will really be a spectacle to watch. Wales, coming off the back of a disappointing Six Nations campaign, will be looking to send the message to all teams that they mean business at this tournament and I am sure Warren Gatland will have them up for the task. On the other hand, Portugal, having only appeared at a Rugby World Cup tournament once before will be looking to capitalise on the age old ‘under-dog’ advantage!
In the other showdown, Japan are no strangers to a group stage upset having beaten South Africa in 2015 and Ireland in 2019. However, Steve Borthwick’s men have a lot to prove after another disappointing six nations campaign. This game will truly be electric.
2. The Ship:
This package really does have it all. On top of the 2 titanic match ups, we have the privilege of being joined The Rugby Pod. Big Jim, Goodey and Andy Rowe will be hosting the pre-game interviews as well as a live edition of their podcast.

3. Toulon
Toulon is one of the many pearls of the French Riviera. There’s so much to take in with plenty of museums, a vibrant night life and the most relaxing beaches the Mediterranean has to offer. Guests are free to roam on and off the ship, meaning not only do they get the pleasure of taking in all the entertainment on board, but also the ability to soak up the French culture in this pit stop before returning to Marseille at the end of this package.
