Andy Nicol becomes Infinity Rugby Ambassador
Infinity Rugby are delighted to announce that Andy Nicol, the former Scotland and British & Irish Lions scrum half turned BBC pundit and commentator, has become our official Ambassador for Rugby World Cup France 2023.
Nicol will host several events for Infinity Rugby in his role, as well as provide analysis and comment on international matches between now and next Autumn as we build Infinity Rugby’s own journey in the lead up to the tournament. Andy will ultimately form part of our broader team in Marseille as Infinity Rugby welcomes fans from around the world aboard the Norwegian Epic cruise ship in partnership with Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL).
The former scrum half, who won 23 caps for Scotland & lifted the Heineken Cup with Bath, said of his new role, “I am delighted to become Infinity Rugby’s Ambassador for RWC2023.
“There is very little in global sport that compares to a Rugby World Cup for a fan. The prospect of the 2023 competition on the field against a backdrop of a truly passionate rugby nation, is alone mouth-watering.
